Has Halloween arrived once more with colorful decorations and candies galore? Everywhere you look, there is something just around the corner in the guise of ghost and goblins to scare you into the night. What to do? Yep, get the body ready to run the bejesus out of it. Therefore, we return to Parivrtta Parsvakonasana or Revolved Side Angle as the “Feature Yoga Pose of the Week”. Parivrtta Parsvakonasana is a great pose to help strengthens the legs, ankles and knees, something we will need to sprint away from the ghostly creatures. This yoga pose not only helps to improve balance & stamina, the twisting motion also assist in detoxifying the body by stimulating the blood to flow through the organs of the kidneys, liver & spleen while helping to improve digestion…(something I will need after all the yummy candy I plan to eat.) This challenging pose help to stretch, tone, strengthen & energize the entire body, improve stamina & mental concentration while developing body coordination. Therefore, expect to find Revolved Side Angle to make its appearance throughout this week and perhaps some other surprise…
