There will be no Stretch’n Flow yoga classes this week.

Join me in tonight’s Vinyasa Level 1 class @ 7:30pm - 8:30pm at MBSY.

Sadly, due to extensive water damage to the studio, Keystone Dance Studio will be closed for the rest of February for repairs. Therefore, there will be no Stretch’n Flow class this week. I will keep you posted on the status of class for February.

I will also be away this week starting on Thursday celebrating the Lunar New Year with my family. The lovely Anne Campbell will be subbing for me Thursday. See schedule below.

Hi Everyone,

February has certainly been a month of the unexpected. It almost as if the universe will do whatever it can to remind me of my decision at the start of the year to take things slow & steady. Just as the Lunar New Year is soon upon us, with its steady transition, perhaps it time that I open myself up to whatever change may come. As I continue to reflect on this, I thing of ways to open heart up to new possibilities. One pose in particular that reminds me of this is Urdhva Mukha Svanasana or Upward Facing Dog Pose. This is a great heart opener that is a staple pose in many Vinyasa sequences. This is great pose to open & stretch the chest, lungs, shoulders & abdomen. Upward Facing Dog helps to improve posture while strengthening the spine, arms & wrist while firming the buttocks. Finally, this pose can help to relieve mild depression, fatigue & sciatica while being therapeutic for asthma. So join me this week as we open our hearts to new possibilities.
