Sadly, Wednesday 7am-8am morning yoga classes at MBSY have been officially removed from the schedule. But as one thing ends, I find that sometimes it could possibly lead to new beginnings. As I continue to strive to move forward to new opportunities & be open to what tomorrow may bring, it’s important for me to stay grounded to the here and now. Of course, that would lead me to think of yoga poses that work on opening the entire body while staying balanced. One such pose is Ardha Chandrasana or Half Moon Pose. This is a great balancing pose that opens the chest & hips that can help to relieve stress, while strengthening the abdomen, ankles, thighs, buttocks, & spine. It also helps to stretch the groin, hamstrings, calves, shoulder, chest & spine, while improving balance & concentration. This pose can also be therapeutic for anxiety, fatigue, menstrual pain, backache, sciatica, indigestion & constipation. So join me this week as we continue to stay open to the future while being rooted to the here & now.
