Set in a beautiful oasis of peace & tranquility in Chiang Mai, the northern region of Thailand, surrounded by majestic mountains. ‘Namaste Chiang Mai’ will not only be a retreat from our daily lives, but also a cultural experience as we explore the breathtaking scenery with exciting adventures & partake in the delicious cuisine of the area.
Indulge the senses with the region’s delicacies as we visit the bustling night markets of Chiang Mai & Doi Saket, nourish the soul as we explore majestic temples, invigorate the spirit as we visit with the elephants, relax the body with a two hour-long Thai massage, & discover the beauty & mysteries of the mountains & waterfalls of Chiang Mai. It will be a magical time to remember as we revitalize our bodies with daily yoga, while replenishing our souls with delicious foods while exploring the beauty of the surrounding area.
Accommodation
In the heart of the Doi Saket district, 20 minutes outside of Chiang Mai, the Taladya Homestay is set amongst lush gardens with luxurious accommodations to create an idyllic oasis from the bustling city of Chiang Mai.
Decorated in the Lanna style of Northern Thailand with an emphasis on modern comforts, the homestay boasts a beautiful swimming pool nestled in a relaxing garden, a lovely lounge & dining area on the veranda and outdoor yoga shala overlooking the pond.
Cuisine
We will enjoy deliciously prepared meals, locally sourced, by our own private chef, who will take us on a culinary tour of Northern Thailand.
A hearty breakfast will greet us after our morning yoga session, with freshly made crepes and homemade cakes, fresh fruit and juices, variety of local jams, cereals and yogurt. (Scrambled eggs available upon request.)
Lunch shall be lovingly prepared with a 3-course meal to help keep us fueled through the day.
Dinner shall be a scrumptious multi-course meal, with a colorful menu that celebrates the local region.

Activities/ Tours
Our mornings will begin with pranayama practice to ease ourselves into the day then a Gentle Hatha Flow yoga session in the beautiful outdoor yoga shala overlooking the pond (weather permitting). After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to venture out to explore the surrounding area. We will end our days events with a restorative yoga session before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.
After settling in on our first day, we will be welcomed to the region by the local monks with a private meeting at their village temple.
Our next day will be devoted to a day of relaxation with massages and lounging by the beautiful pool, ending with a visit to the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar for some shopping, amazing street food, and a evening tuk-tuk tour to explore the Chiang Mai Old City. (Dinner not included)
There will be three full day excursions -
One day, visiting the mountains, local villages, waterfalls, and temples as you can spend the day hiking and exploring the countryside with lunch included at a local restaurant.
Another day, visiting the majestic temples of Doi Suthep & Wat Pha Lat, then the afternoon to explore the many temples, restaurants, and cafes of the Old City of Chiang Mai at your leisure. (Lunch not included.)
Of course, how can we visit the Chiang Mai without spending a day with the elephants at a private Elephant Sanctuary with lunch included at the sanctuary.
Activities will also include an afternoon at the local Celadon Pottery Studio & Village Market, and finally, an evening visit to the Doi Saket Temple to chant with the monks with a special dinner included at a local restaurant.

Taladya Homestay is situated only 20 minutes from the center of Chiang Mai and 35 mins from Chiang Mai International airport.

There will be a scheduled group pick up from Chiang Mai International airport on Monday, May 20th, 2024 . A secondary group pick-up can be schedule, if necessary (possible additional cost).
There will be a scheduled group drop-off to Chiang Mai International airport on Monday, May 27, 2024.
Airport pick-up & drop-off will be determined based on the majority of guests’ flight times.
Arrival & departures outside the designated group times will require you to organize your own transport to the Taladya Homestay at your own cost. I will be happy to assist you with any additional information.

In case of cancellation, you may transfer your deposit or your reservation to another person as long as you notify us in advance.
We cannot be held liable for any consequences due to delays or cancellations with any flights, travel companies, etc. with whom you may have made arrangements.
Due to arrangements made with our vacation hosts, there can be no exceptions to this policy.
In case of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund of all funds received.
All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate on the trip. We always highly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.

There are five bedrooms, two superior doubles, two deluxe double, and one deluxe suite. Decorated with local handicrafts, such as a celadon tea set, Thai silk pillows, & artwork by local artist, giving each rooms a distinctive personality and charm.
All rooms have spacious modern en-suite bathrooms and air-condition with views of the swimming pool. They have hardwood floors, flat screen TV with satellite, Free WIFI, and safety deposit box.
