“Core’n Twist: Extended Edition''
This series will consist of 8 classes; 2 Hatha Flow’n Strength classes at 60 mins, 2 Gentle Flow’n Restore classes at 60 mins, 2 Vinyasa Flow’n Go classes at 45 mins, 2 Hatha Flow’n Restore at 60 mins.
This series will incorporate postures that help to improve core strength, thereby stabilizing the body & keeping it strong. By working the core, we can move towards improving posture & maintaining the body’s ability to function over time. Not only that, but incorporating twist can help ease stiffness & tension along the spine while stimulating digestion & blood circulation. So again, expect poses like Navasana or Boat Pose & Plank to strengthen & tone the abdominal muscles, Vasisthasana or Side Plank Yoga Pose to strengthen the arms, shoulders, & wrist, while also improving balance & concentration. To work the entire lower part of the body, i.e, glutes, hamstrings, and quads to maintain stability, Lunges & its many variations are the way to go. Uttanpadasana or Raised leg pose will strengthen the pelvis, hips, lower back, & legs, and finally, Parivrtta Parsvakonasana or Revolved Side Angle Pose to detoxify the body while developing body coordination.
