Hi Everyone,

Lots have happened this past week. With the success of my first “Yoga & Spa Afternoon” event to an article that just came out in the Yoga Journal with yours truly, it has certainly been a busy & eventful week. The article, “10 yoga poses to steal from yoga hybrids” by Yelena Moroz Alpert, talks about how to help revamp your yoga practice by incorporating 10 innovative poses from yoga hybrid styles. One of which feature the ginga position from Ginga Flow, a fitness class that incorporates the moves of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts & yoga with strength & conditioning training. Set to a progressive playlist featuring capoeira music with a variety of other genres, the class starts slow with a meditative warm-up, combining yoga & martial movements, then with a sequence of choreographed movements of the ginga, kicks, feints, & vinyasas to keep the body moving. Phew… there is certainly something for everyone here.

Ginga Flow is available for privates & semi-privates at the moment. Stay tuned for more news…
