Hi Everyone,

Halloween is just a few days away with its colorful decorations & the many creatures of the night soon to make its appearance. Everywhere you look, there is something just around the corner in the guise of ghost and goblins to scare you into the night. With our tribute to the warrior this past month, I’m sure you will be well prepared to do battle with whatever that may come your way. So expect a plethora of warriors in class this week, especially Virabhadrasana III or Warrior III. Warrior III is a great balancing yoga pose that can help strengthen the ankles, legs, shoulders, & muscles of the back. It also helps to tone the entire body, especially the abdomen, while improving posture, concentration & memory. Because we are balancing on one leg, we can allow ourselves to bring focus into our practice while staying grounded to the earth that can help quite the mind. So be prepared as we prepare to do battle with the creatures of the night with a special Halloween playlist to make its appearance that may bring a bit of a “thrill” to your night.
