Hi Everyone,
I don’t know about you but the arrival of all fours seasons this past week has done a number on my entire body? The constant shift in temperature has left me feeling stiff and tight. This certainly calls for a yoga pose that not only strengthens but also relieves stiffness throughout the body. With that in mind, allow me to re-introduce Skandasana or Side Lunge as the “Feature Yoga Pose of the Week”. As many of you many have noticed, I have been including this pose more often throughout my sequences. It’s such a great challenging pose to help relieve stiffness in the hips, hamstrings, shoulders, & back. Side Lunge can also strengthen & tone the thighs, ankles, knees, gluts, and hips while improving balance & core strength. With all these benefits, is it no wonder I chose Skandasana or Side Lunge as the “Feature Yoga Pose of the Week” to continue to battle the ever constant change in weather?
