I am away this weekend, so the lovely Laura Cabrera will be subbing tonight’s Vinyasa Level 1 class @ 7:30pm - 8:30pm at MBSY.

Hi Everyone,

As some of you may know, I am away this weekend celebrating getting older & hopefully wiser…so this post will be short & sweet. As I mentioned last week, we will be working on poses that help to strengthen & open up the whole body. So be prepared for sequences that continue that engage the core, improve balance, and energize. Of course, as summer soon approaches & the start of beach season is upon us, I myself will spend the next few days soaking up the sun & listening to the soothing waves. So I can think of no better way to honor the warmth & sounds of the beach than with a series of Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutations and the Ujjayi Breath, also referred to as the “Ocean’s Breath”. Looking forward to seeing you when I return.
