Hi Everyone,
Can you believe that spring is just around the corner? As many of you know, the spring equinox is soon upon us. It is a day where the sun shines directly on the equator causing the day & night to be nearly equal in time as well as signaling the first day of spring. As I think of the balancing of day & night during the equinox, I can’t help to think of ways to keep balance in our lives. Last week, I had mentioned the #BalanceforBetter Campaign from International Woman’s Day. I truly believe that this is an important campaign as many of us, especially while living in the fast-paced world of NYC, an tend to concentrate on one aspect of our lives, creating an imbalance that can cause the body & mind to crash & burn. I myself can find it hard with all the challenges that may come my way throughout the day that can cause stress. When this happens, I can’t help to think of ways to bring back a sense of equilibrium to my day. Some of you may have noticed that I have included a lot of balancing postures throughout my class this week. As many of you know, balancing postures can go a long way to work on improving core strength, thereby stabilizing the body, improving posture & maintaining the body’s ability to function over time. Balancing postures requires a great deal of focus that can improve our ability to concentrate, helping us to stay grounded while strengthening body while calming the mind. So join me this week as we continue to find #BalanceforBetter in our lives.
P.S. Don’t forget, in honor of all those who wish to find #BalanceforBetter in their lives I have once again offered the discount of $200 per person until March 21st.
